Tom Brady became a minority owner in the Las Vegas Raiders this week as he continues to find new ways to stay involved in the N.F.L. After a 22-year playing career, he now has a 5% stake in a professional franchise while continuing his role in the broadcast booth.

A new report shows that he already knows what his first assignment will be. He wants to bring his old head coach to Sin City!

Kirk Minihane said he has heard from multiple sources within the New England Patriots organization that getting Bill Belichick back on the sidelines is a top priority.

He wants the Raiders to be his next employer.

How much truth is there in the report? That is not known. Tom Brady may not have much influence with his minority stake.

But then again, this is the greatest quarterback of all time, who played for arguably the greatest dynasty of all time.

His opinion counts!

Bill Belichick was the other half of the Patriots’ two-headed monster as the duo combined to win six Super Bowl titles in Foxborough. Could they soon gain a dominant position with an AFC rival?

Las Vegas would certainly welcome the success and there is a lot of buzz surrounding the partnership between Brady and Belichick.

In 2001, the Patriots eliminated the Raiders from the playoffs in the infamous “Tuck Rule” game. Since then, Las Vegas has been to the postseason just three times. Two of those seasons ended in the wild card round.

On the other hand, the team just hired Antonio Pierce as head coach even though he is 2-4 in year 1. Even with a losing season, it seems too early to fire a leader who is loved by most of his players .

We also don’t know if Belichick has any interest in returning to the sidelines. Outside of football he seems to be doing fine.

Bill Belichick for the Raiders remains a rumor at this point. They’re rumors. That hasn’t stopped fans from joining in on the speculation on social media!

“This would be a BIG move for the Raiders.”

“That would be the ultimate reunion.”

“These two are going to torture the league forever.”

Will it come to fruition? Time will tell! If anything, it should tell us that Brady plans to be heavily involved in the decision-making of his new NFL franchise.
