Tom Brady shares cryptic post hours after Gisele Bündchen’s baby news circulates

Hours after news broke that Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente were reportedly expecting their first child together, the supermodel’s ex-husband, retired NFL legend Tom Brady, had something to say on his Instagram.

Brady, who is no novice at posting cryptic Instagram stories that usually coincide with breaking news about himself, shared a photo of a sunset.

As background noise he chose the emotional Fleetwood Mac song ‘Landslide’, although the very meaningful lyrics were projected onto the photo: ‘Oh mirror in the sky / What is love? / Can the child inside my heart Rise Above? / Can I sail through the changing tides of the ocean?”

A representative for the seven-time Super Bowl champions did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Yesterday, news quickly circulated that the Brazilian beauty was pregnant. “Gisele and Joaquim are happy about this new chapter in their lives and look forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the entire family,” a source told People Magazine in a statement.

Rumors that Bündchen and Valente, a jiu-jitsu professor from Brazil, were involved spread around the time of Bündchen’s divorce. A month after she and Brady were legally divorced, she and Valente were spotted on a trip to Costa Rica. News media reported that they went on a date.

“This is the kids’ martial arts teacher and Gisele. There is no truth to the dating rumors,” a source told Fox News Digital at the time. “The photos were not taken during a romantic getaway, but rather during a trip to their home in the Central American country,” she added.

The insider explained that the photos of Bündchen and Valente cropped out another adult, Jordan, a home tutor for Bündchen’s children, Benjamin and Vivian, both of whom she shares with Brady. Valente is the children’s physical educator. In total there were six adults and eight children traveling.

In March, 44-year-old Bündchen gave insight into her new relationship in a conversation with The New York Times.

“This is the first time I’ve seen someone who was a friend of mine,” she told the outlet, though she didn’t mention Valente directly. “It’s very different. It’s very honest and very transparent.”

In the same interview, the model refuted claims that she cheated on Brady, 47, with Valente, 36.

“That’s a lie,” she declared. “This is something that happens to many women who are blamed for having the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and labeled as unfaithful,” Bündchen added.

“They’re dealing with their community. They’re dealing with their family. For me, of course, it’s a little bit amplified,” she told the outlet of women fighting the cheating label. “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”

Bündchen and Brady divorced after 13 years of marriage. They continue to be parents to their children together, and both own homes South Florida.
