Ticketmaster recently updated its ticket transfer policy for Taylor Swift’s shows in Indianapolis to combat ticket scams. It’s a change that may not make buying last-minute tickets so easy.

Ticket transfers to Swift’s shows are now limited to a period of 72 hours before the event, Ticketmaster announced earlier this month. Previously, fans could exchange tickets at any time.

When observing additional ticket drops for summer 2023 shows, the releases occurred approximately 26 hours before the first night of the show, and again on the day itself. The first ticket drop for those shows was the Detroit show, at 5:07 PM on the Thursday before Night 1.

On the day of Night 1, ticket drops took place as early as 1:49 PM in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and as early as 6:12 PM in Minneapolis.

The midweek ticket drops often occur during stage construction, when the venue and tour have a clearer idea of how the space will be used and whether seating can be added.

Yes, although unlike Miami, there was no Wednesday night drop (Miami took place at 8:34 PM on the Wednesday before the show).

The Thursday night drop in New Orleans took place at 7:47 PM, according to @inmygreatwarera’s X feed.

Additional ticket drops for the Miami shows followed similar patterns to the tour’s previous U.S. stops, @inmygreatwarera wrote. According to the feed, the drops are unannounced, have no notifications or reminders, and do not require a code to access.

The box office opens at 2:30 PM on the day of the concerts solely for ticket processing purposes. According to the Lucas Oil Stadium website, gates open at 4:30 PM and concerts begin at 6:45 PM.
