Throw-in time and where to watch the All-Ireland Minor Football final – The Irish News

The All-Ireland Minor football final is the third meeting between Derry’s Oak Leafers and Armagh’s Orchardmen this season.

Derry have the upper hand, winning the two Ulster Championship matches between the two teams.

They also currently hold the Tom Markham Cup and will be hoping to secure their third minor title in five seasons.

Today’s final marks the third time in successive years that two teams from the same county have contested the final of the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship.

They met in the group stage of the tournament, when Damien McErlain’s team unexpectedly won 2-18 to 0-7, and met again in the Ulster final.

This meeting was more exciting, with Derry winning this time at Healy Park by just two points.

Armagh will be looking to finally overcome the lonely position after beating strong competition from Connacht champions Mayo to reach the final.
