This beloved children’s book is getting a video game

Let’s Move Over Mindscape, a team with experience on projects like Bluey: The Video Game, Disney Dreamlight Valley and more, has announced a collaboration with renowned children’s author Dav Pilkey on a Dog Man video game adaptation called Dog Man: Mission Impawsible.

According to a press release, the upcoming game will be a 2D side-scrolling platformer with various puzzles. It will also feature “50 unique levels” across five different worlds. Players will be able to explore locations from the books, such as City Hall, the Giant Marshmallow Factory, and others. The story will follow Dog Man as he pursues a thief who has stolen the keys to the city.

Dav Pilkey has worked on several children’s books, including the Captain Underpants series, Dragon, Dumb Bunnies, Ricky Ricotta’s Mighty Robot series, and more.
