MOSCOW, November 13. /TASS/. Should NATO decide to allow Kiev to carry out attacks deep into Russian territory, Moscow will view that as a direct conflict with Russia, and the West will receive a “devastating” response, said ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova. Foreign Affairs.

The diplomat recalled a British media report about how British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron planned to persuade US head of state Joe Biden to allow Kiev to use Storm Shadow missiles for attacks deep into Russia. London reportedly hopes the White House will allow this before Donald Trump comes to power.

“If the Kiev regime is allowed to carry out the above-mentioned attacks, we will regard them as NATO countries de facto entering into direct armed conflict with Russia. This will change the essence of the conflict, its nature. Long-range systems to attack our country’s territory will be inevitable and devastating for them,” the spokeswoman said at a briefing.

According to her, meanwhile, Ukrainian social media accounts are speculating that the Zelensky regime plans to present the received Western missiles as Ukrainian and change the labels in order to use the weapons to attack Russia.

“This is nothing but bloody deception,” Zakharova noted. “This sounds exactly like something Zelensky and his gang would do. But we fully understand that this is impossible to implement without the consent of its trustees,” she said.

“We would like to remind Washington, London, Paris and Brussels that they are playing with fire,” the diplomat emphasized. “All the above facts once again prove the importance of the special military operation aimed at denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, and eliminating all threats emanating from its territory.”
