The victim of sexual abuse at Grange Hospital had called the suspect in court

The jury also heard a video recording of a police interview with the second alleged victim, who was being treated for a bowel condition in the same department that week.

She described in detail how the suspect assaulted her while performing a bladder scan.

The woman said he came back about half an hour to an hour later and said he needed to do another scan.

She said Mr Crump touched her breasts and asked if she was pregnant, before then reaching out and touching her buttocks.

The woman said she was in a lot of pain at the time, so she screamed, at which point Mr Crump swore and a nurse came in.

The woman refused to be examined by Mr Crump for a second time.

In her opening statement the day before, the prosecution drew attention to the similarities in the stories of the two witnesses, both women who were patients at the hospital at the same time.

Mr Crump denies nine charges of sexual assault, including three charges of sexual assault by penetration.

The process continues.
