The Sterritt family raises no less than €23,000 for the Motor Neuron Society

The Sterritt family presented a check for €23,000 to the Motor Neuron Society.

The money was raised following a coffee morning held earlier this year at the Ozanam Community Centre in Dunfanaghy, where the cheque was presented to Naomi Fitzgibbon, Director of Nursing and Services Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.

“What else can we say other than thank you all so much,” the family said. “It’s just crazy to think that a tea day can make €23,000. Thank you to everyone who helped on the day and in the run up, everyone who donated prizes for the raffles, the Ozanam Center and their staff and everyone who came and supported such a great cause. Thanks also to Dunfanaghy Bowling Club who also had a raffle and donated €550 to our total.”
