‘The only place you can go is up’, Ronda Rousey proves bitter towards Vince McMahon again after controversial WWE exit – FirstSportz

It’s been almost a year since Ronda Rousey Leaving WWE. And if time has proven anything, she had developed a fair amount of ill will for the company by the time she was done. Her relationships with the then Chairman and CEO of WWE Vince McMahon worsened when the 78-year-old was relentlessly plagued by allegations of sexual misconduct. Rousey recently had something to say about her ex-boss.

While I was talking to Shakiel Mahjouri by CBS Sportthe former UFC ace confirmed that anyone is better than Vince McMahon at running WWE. She then brought up the current Chief Content Officer, Triple H, and how she enjoyed working under his watch. Ronda further confirmed that she is not aware of what is currently going on in WWE, but she did have a word with one of her best friends there, Natalya.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet said Nattie told her that WWE recently had a show with an equal number of women and men on the card. Rousey thought it was cool, and that’s exactly what she wants from the product. The 37-year-old has been calling for equal representation of female talent, not just in quantity but in quality.

Well, I think anyone’s better than Vince McMahon. The only place you can go is up (laughs), I really enjoy Triple H and working with him. And honestly, I haven’t been watching, but I saw something from (Natalya) saying that they had a card recently that had just as many women on it as the men.

At a time when Ronda was a women’s tag team champion in WWE, she ran into trouble when The Arm Collector criticized the existing women’s division as woefully shallow. Despite her initial accomplishments in her post-pregnancy WWE run, the former Judoka couldn’t keep up with fans in the long run. From being a fixture in the women’s title picture on whatever brand she was on, the former UFC Bantamweight Champion was eventually relegated to tag team shenanigans.

Ronda Rousey recently dropped the Drew Gulak bombshell

Earlier this year, Ronda Rousey made a shocking revelation that caused a stir in WWE for a while. The 2008 Olympic bronze medalist accused former colleague Drew Gulak of misconduct. She alleged that Gulak once blatantly pulled the strings of her sweatpants while they were backstage.

The incident in question took place in the hallway, where people were around them. Ronda’s comments led to an internal investigation into Drew. And eventually, the accused wrestler was released by WWE last month. Gulak was also called a bully by his NXT colleagues.

During the press conference after this year’s Backlash PLE show in France, Triple H was also hit with this question by one of the media correspondents present. The latter was even laughed at by a WWE representative who was present.
