The new head of Emmanuel Christian school dispels closing rumors

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) – The new interim head of school at Emmanuel Christian released a statement Tuesday dispelling rumors of the school closing.

“There have been many changes at our school in recent years,” said Paraswun Brown, who was appointed to the position Monday evening.

“There are rumors in the community that the school is closing. I want to assure you that this is not the case,” Brown continued.

On Monday, Emmanuel Christian announced that Michelle McDaniel, the school’s former principal, would no longer work at ECS “effective immediately.”
