The golf world is reacting to Scottie Scheffler’s crazy stats

Scottie Scheffler’s dominance on the PGA Tour continued on Sunday when he outlasted Tom Kim in a playoff to win the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Connecticut.

Scheffler finished the weekend with a score of -22, just three strokes shy of the tournament record of -25 set by Tim Norris in 1982, when it was still called the Greater Hartford Open.

The victory marked Scheffler’s sixth PGA Tour win of the season, marking the first time since Arnold Palmer accomplished the feat in 1962 that a golfer has won six events before the calendar turns to July.

In addition to matching Palmer’s goal, Flushing It Golf on did it once.

Scheffler continues to show why he is the top-ranked golfer in the world. He has already won the Masters and Players Championships this season, the latter of which saw him become the first consecutive winner in the event’s history. He will have no shortage of opportunities to continue his dominance this season.

Scheffler has been number one in the world since March 2022, and that will not change this week.
