The Eternal Die is set to shake things up in 2025 with a touch of roguelite – Destructoid

Thunderful has revealed that a sequel to Zoink’s 2021 action-adventure game is coming Lost in coincidence is in the making. Lost in Chance: The Eternal Dice coming to Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025.

Lost in Chance: The Eternal Dice continues the story of the previous game by casting you as the (former) Queen of Random. She and her companion, Fortune, are trapped in the eponymous Eternal Die and must fight their way out.

The gameplay is mixed into a more roguelite experience, making it even more true to the “random” in the name. The Eternal Die is a labyrinth that remixes itself and features rooms themed after classic board games.

Personally I haven’t played the original Lost in coincidence and I keep confusing it with Lost in vivoa game by Kira, the developer who later Insane. However, former Destructoid editor-in-chief Jordan Devore covered it for the site and seemed to really enjoy it. He said that while it had limitations that seemed to be based on the size of the budget, he never got bored and enjoyed it the entire time. Hopefully the same praise goes for The Eternal Dice.

Lost in Chance: The Eternal Dice is expected to release in 2025 for Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
