The Annika: Brit Charley Hull leads by one shot heading into the final round

England’s Charley Hull will take a one-stroke lead on the final day of the LPGA’s Annika tournament in Florida after shooting a two-under-par 68 in the third round.

The 28-year-old made two birdies on the front nine before hitting a mixed back nine, including three birdies and three bogeys, to finish on a total of 12 under.

China’s Weiwei Zhang and America’s Nelly Korda trail Hull by one stroke at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair.

World number one Korda finished strongly with a three-under 67 to reduce Hull’s lead by one overnight, while Zhang climbed the leaderboard with an excellent eight-under 62.

Zhang’s round, the lowest of the tournament so far, featured nine birdies and one bogey.

Korda is a three-time winner of the event, which is named in honor of Sweden’s 10-time major champion Annika Sorenstam.

Thailand’s Wichanee Meechai and South Korean Jin Hee Im are two shots further behind Korda and Zhang after rounds of 68.
