Tennis star Genie Bouchard’s Halloween costume turns heads and gets people talking

Genie Bouchard’s approach to her Halloween costume this year must have been to challenge herself. Could she pull off something like a cow and still find a way to create some buzz?

The answer is of course: yes, she can. Otherwise we wouldn’t be here right now.

The Canadian tennis pro and rising pickleball star has taken the easy way out in the past when it comes to her costumes. Genie did the ‘Batwoman’ costume, she is dressed as Taylor Swift. Those are easy wins.

Adopting a cow, even if it’s a version of the animal you’re unlikely to see in nature, doesn’t make things easy for yourself. If your name isn’t Genie Bouchard, that is.

She managed to make it work and look easy. I’m here to tell you that running around Miami Beach in a cow Halloween costume is anything but easy.

The Halloween parties are full of socialites who take the path of least resistance to look their best. You walk in wearing a cow costume, and you might as well pass it off.

Genie Bouchard’s Halloween costume was a hit both online and offline

It’s safe to say Genie wore her costume. The comments section struggled to keep things on the right side of creepy. That said, most managed to pull it off.

One of the first comments her cow costume received read: “I’m lactose (intolerant) but I’ll take the risk lol.”

Another asked, “Where are your milk jugs.”

A third said: “The hottest cow I have ever seen.”

The attention Genie’s Halloween costume received wasn’t limited to the odd one out in the comments section. Apparently she caught someone’s attention at a party. She shared a conversation she had with someone on her Instagram Story.

Some of the message was deliberately hidden, but what was visible read: “You caught his attention at the Halloween party, but he said he tried to make a cow joke at you, but it didn’t land.”

Genie wrote ‘dead’. on her Instagram Story along with the screenshot of the exchange and added a few cow emojis for good measure.
