Tectone splits from OTK amid allegations of sexual abuse by ex-girlfriend

Twitch streamer Tectone has parted ways with OTK amid multiple allegations of abuse from his ex-partner Pinkchyu, which he continues to vehemently deny, and has even demanded an apology within the next 24 hours.

On November 20, 2024, Pinkchyu claimed to be a victim of “sexual abuse” in a series of tweets that did not explicitly name an abuser. Many viewers speculated that the name in question was Twitch streamer Tectone, and received a response in the following hours.

Tectone discussed it all, both on stream and on X (formerly Twitter), where the accusations were made. Denying any wrongdoing, he pushed back and claimed Pinkchyu “imagined problems” that never happened.

“It’s crazy how these things that happened in your own mind — you’re coming at me now, and this is just not cute,” Tectone said at the time.

While he then gave his ex two weeks to ‘apologise’ before taking legal action, Tectone went live again on November 24 to discuss the allegations further. Early in the Twitch broadcast, he confirmed that he had parted ways with OTK, but reportedly not due to the ongoing situation.

Tectone splits with OTK

Although OTK has yet to make an official statement, Tectone was subtly removed from the group’s website when the controversy came into the spotlight. And while Tectone quickly confirmed that he has parted ways with the organization, he argued that this was completely separate from the Pinkchyu accusation.

Claiming that his November 24 broadcast was “the single most important stream of (his) entire life,” Tectone went out of his way to tackle everything head-on. First there was the topic of OTK.

“Did OTK take you off their site based on unfounded accusations?” one viewer asked. “The answer is no,” Tectone replied bluntly.

Tectone’s contract with the content creator group reportedly expired on November 1, 2024. In recent weeks he claims to have weighed his options. “As of last night, I have chosen not to renew,” he explained.

The reason behind this decision reportedly had nothing to do with the current scandal. Instead, Tectone had supposedly been planning to leave for “four months,” claiming his association with other popular streamers left him with a “weakness.”

“I don’t like how people can come after other people when I do stupid things,” he said.

For the most part, he expressed his love for many of the remaining members of OTK, even if he suggested that it often felt like “contractually obligated friendships” with some individuals.

Obviously, this split that happened amid the ongoing situation with Pinkchyu raised a lot of eyebrows, especially with the silence on OTK’s side. To further clarify his position, Tectone continued his flow by focusing on the allegations made against him.

Tectone gives Pinkchyu a deadline to apologize for accusations

“I want to make this very clear: everything she accuses me of in her statement is a complete lie,” Tectone doubled down, echoing his stance from days earlier. “Nothing about these allegations is true, they are completely fabricated.”

Following one specific claim, in which Pinkchyu suggested that she had been “guiltily induced” to perform sexual acts because she had not paid the rent, Tectone collected alleged receipts. The streamer highlighted screenshots of his ex seemingly paying rent multiple times, but that’s not all.

Tectone then brought up an earlier tweet from his ex. In her own words, she claimed that she paid back the rent in June 2024. At the time, she added in the same tweet: “I couldn’t ask for a better friend.”

“This whole thing that people believe in is very unfortunate,” Tectone said. “This tweet is contradictory and a bold lie.”

Now tightening its deadline, Tectone has given Pinkchyu 24 hours to respond. He wants the post deleted and a public apology, otherwise he threatens legal action.

“You have 24 hours. You’re going to delete your message and apologize. I don’t want to go to court, I don’t want all this to be broadcast in public. I want to move on.”
