A body language expert has suggested that Taylor Swift “clearly loves” her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s antics, saying the Kansas City Chiefs star’s ease in the spotlight reduces the “risk” they’re not compatible.

The NFL tight end has been spotted romantically hooking up with the pop sensation in spots around the world during his offseason. After Swift watched Kelce win his third Super Bowl in February, he was seen cheering her on from the crowd and even joining her onstage during concerts around the world.

Kelce showed he’s no stranger to the spotlight when he made a surprise appearance at Swift’s London concert, charming fans at Wembley Stadium. He didn’t stop there, however, flying to Dublin to catch Swift’s performance, where he made a surprise visit.

Later, videos surfaced of the pair embracing backstage after Swift’s Dublin performance. In the tender moment, Kelce was captured leading his fellow semi-adoring fans, encouraging the crowd to cheer even louder for the “Anti Hero” singer.

He paused briefly and threw his arms up in the direction of his lover, appearing to be in awe of the singer – before they linked arms and walked away together. Now, body language expert Judi James has given the Mirror the details of what the scene revealed about the relationship between the world-famous duo.

She said: “While we all enjoy these images of Travis and Taylor and the way he pretends to adore her and the way she smiles and grabs his biceps in the kind of gesture you see from devoted couples, it’s worth noting that the couple have very different body language when she appears in his moments of sporting triumph and when he appears in her moments of glory.

“When Travis has been on Taylor’s concert tour so far, he has appeared on stage, playing to the audience like a true acting pro, dressing up in costume and showing off his theatrical talents to her massive audience, who he has touted and played to like a star. Here he does something similar, playing to the Swifties audience by running ahead and doing a comedic bow to introduce her, and interacting directly with her fans as he does so.

James also suggested that Swift’s body language suggested she was completely smitten with her football boyfriend, as she said: “Taylor clearly loves it and she clearly loves him. Her ex Joe Alwyn was much more of a private person, so Travis’ love of showboating might feel like a stress-free contrast.”

The expert believes Travis Kelce’s ease with the spotlight could be a breath of fresh air for Swift, who has navigated the complexities of fame in previous relationships. James noted, “As J-Lo has discovered, it’s a risk when an international star marries a man who doesn’t like being a show pony or having his privacy compromised.”

“Travis thankfully doesn’t seem to have a fame phobia, which should make life easier for Taylor. But it would just be fun to see him do what she does, and how he avoids overshadowing her or even making fun of her in the comedy intro when it’s her turn to be the star.”
