TALON Announces Partnership with Razer

Esports organization based in Hong Kong TALON Esports has announced a partnership with a gaming hardware brand Razer.

As part of the deal, Razer will provide TALON Esports with peripherals to support the brand’s teams across various titles.

TALON’s VALORANT and Counter-Strike 2 teams will benefit from the deal. Additionally, PSG TALON’s League of Legends and Rainbow 6 Siege teams are included in the partnership.

Players competing for TALON will be given the Razer Viper V3 Pro wireless esports mouse and the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro line of analog optical switch keyboards. The keyboard in question has recently been in the news due to Razer’s controversial Snap Tap feature. Snap Tap gives players a significant advantage during counter-strafing in first-person shooter games, but is now banned from CS2 and ESL competitions.

Razer is no stranger to deals within esports, having launched specific peripherals for various esports titles like Fortnite and partnered with several esports organizations such as MAD Lions KOI, Sentinels, and more. According to the release, however, this partnership has a specific purpose for Razer, as TALON will provide the peripheral brand with feedback on its latest products in order to further improve the gear.

This summer has been a busy one for TALON on the partnership front, as the esports organization inked deals with tech company VISA, streetwear brand Certified Saudi Arabia, blockchain company Perion Labs, and hardware brand ThundeRobot. The partnerships come at a pivotal time as TALON Esports looks to qualify for the 2024 Perfect World Shanghai Major in CS2 and defend its Pacific Championship Series (PCS) title in League of Legends.
