Swimming and Diving: Scots Named Scholar All-America Teams for the Spring Semester

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have both been named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming Coaches of America Association (CSCAA), the organization announced. A total of 722 institutions were listed.

To qualify as a Scholar All-America Team, teams must maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the 2024 spring semester. The men’s team achieved a team GPA of 3.77 for the spring semester, ranking third among the NCAA Division III men’s swimming and diving teams. The women’s team achieved a team GPA of 3.75, which ranks 10th in Division III. Macalester is one of five institutions where both men’s and women’s teams achieve top 10 GPAs, joining Caltech, Emory, Pomona-Pitzer and Vassar.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
