Super League referee appointments: Liam Moore wins key match

The referee appointments for the Super League Round of 16 have been confirmed, with Liam Moore winning the match with the best result.

With every match this season being broadcast live on Sky Sports, a video referee has been appointed again this season.

Castleford play hosts St Helens on Friday evening, looking to avoid a repeat of the humiliating 60-6 defeat earlier this season.

Tom Grant will be the referee here and Liam Rush is the video referee.

Elsewhere, leaders Wigan Warriors will be looking to consolidate their position as they take on play-off contender Leigh Leopards.

Aaron Moore is in charge, while Ben Thaler consults the replays.

The other match that evening is between struggling Huddersfield and Warrington, with both teams looking to return to early season form.

Jack Smith will referee this match, while Liam Moore will be the video referee.

Saturday sees Leeds Rhinos host London Broncos, a golden opportunity for the Headingley crowd to pick up two vital points.

Referee is Marcus Griffiths and video referee is Aaron Moore.
