SSB: 3 City Girls Crack SSB, All Set To Join Air Force And Navy | Nagpur News

Nagpur: Three city ​​girls have made Nagpur proud by cracking the staff selection committee (SSB) examination and receiving call letters from various wings of the Indian Armed Forces. Surbhi Joldeo and Devashree Nimbhorkar have received call letters from the Indian Air Forcewhile Ahona Majumdar will attract the Indian Navy to colour.
Ahona has been selected as a Sub-Lieutenant in the Aviation Specialization (Pilot) – Executive Branch of the Indian Navy.Surbhi has been selected in the Aeronautical Engineering Branch of the Indian Air Force, and Devashree has been selected in the Administrative Branch of the Indian Air Force.

Sunil D’Souza, a retired group leader who guided the girls through their selection process, said: “All three will start their training within a fortnight.”
Ahona and Devashree come from defense families. Despite not having a defense background, Surbhi always aspired to a career in the Indian Air Force and joined NCC Air Wing during his school days.
Ahona has represented India in rowing, participated in national-level swimming competitions, achieved a brown belt in karate and trained as an Odissi dancer. Devashree plays tennis while Surbhi later managed the state in the NCC Vayu Sainik camp.
