Six family members, including a newlywed couple, die in a traffic accident after a colorful wedding

According to the Times of India, six family members, including a newlywed couple, were among the victims in the horrific accident.

What caused the accident at Bijnor?

According to the police report, the family was returning from the couple’s wedding party in Jharkhand when the accident happened.

Bijnor SP Abhishek Jha said a Hyundai Creta, which was trying to overtake another vehicle, collided with a TukTuk, which was carrying the newlyweds.

Six family members died on the spot, while the driver died during hospital treatment.

“The car rammed into their car from behind around 2 am while overtaking another vehicle, killing six of them on the spot. Car driver Ajab Singh was admitted to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries,” Abhishek said.

The victims include groom Mohd Vishal (25), a resident of Tibra village, and his bride, Khushi (22), a resident of Jharkhand.

Other victims include Vishal’s father, Mohd Khurshid, 65; his maternal uncle, Mohd Mumtaz (50) and his wife, Rubi (35) and their daughter Bushra (14).

What caused the Kisumu-Kakamega accident

Meanwhile, Kenyans painfully mourned the deaths of thirteen people who were sadly killed in an accident involving a tanker and two matatus.

The tragic accident occurred on Wednesday evening, November 13, along Kisumu-Kakamega Road near Iguhu Yala Bridge, killing ten people and seriously injuring several others.

The accident occurred when a tanker en route to Kakamega lost control and collided with two 14-seater matatus.

The impact of the collision resulted in numerous casualties, while twenty others were seriously injured.

The tragic event has left the community in shock, as families mourn the loss of their loved ones and others remain hopeful for the recovery of those hospitalized.
