Sindh Governor honours Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem with RS 20m reward

Olympic gold medallist Arshad Nadeem was warmly welcomed by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House on Wednesday.

The reception was held to honour Arshad’s historic achievement, with the Governor offering a cash prize of Rs 20 million to the national hero.

During the event, Governor Tessori praised Arshad’s dedication and said the entire nation stands behind him.

He attributed Arshad’s success to the prayers of his parents and emphasised the significance of his victory for Pakistan.

“Arshad Nadeem has brought much joy to the nation after a long time,” the Governor noted.

The event attracted a large turnout of people from across Sindh, including businessmen who announced additional rewards and incentives for Nadeem.

Governor Kamran also informed that the Sindh government would contribute Rs 50 million, of which a total of Rs 100 million would be collected from the Governor House.
