The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that Shivam Dube will replace Nitish Kumar Reddy in the upcoming T20I series against Zimbabwe. The BCCI initially included Nitish in the 15-member squad, as announced on Monday, but due to an injury, he has now been replaced by Dube.

Nitish Kumar Reddy scored 303 runs at an average of 33.67 and a strike rate of 142.92, playing a crucial role in strengthening the SRH middle order. Moreover, he scalped three wickets with the ball and was named the emerging player of the season. Meanwhile, Dube is currently part of the Indian squad participating in the ICC World T20. The all-rounder from Mumbai performed mediocre in the tournament, scoring just 106 runs at an average of 26.50 and a strike rate of 107.07.
