Session: Skate Sim passes two million players, new French content coming July 18

NACON and creā-ture Studios are delighted to announce that Session: Skate Sim has now built a player community of over 2 million players! Launched in September 2022, this skateboarding simulation has convinced more and more boarders and non-boarders to play this form of skating virtually. The game pays tribute to the golden age of skateboarding in the 90s.

To celebrate this occasion, the development team is revealing upcoming additional content celebrating a city that will be on everyone’s radar this summer: Paris, the capital of fashion and luxury, but also of skate spots! Players will be able to discover or rediscover iconic locations of the City of Light, including the Trocadéro esplanade and steps, the ramps and pyramids of Place de la République, and the banks of the Seine. This additional content will be released on July 18, 2024.

Session: Skate Sim invites players to dive into the real skateboarding lifestyle of the 90s, where every sidewalk and every flight of stairs was a great location to perform your favorite stunt. The game’s ultra-realistic physics bring the sensations of skateboarding to life and the studio has even integrated groundbreaking gameplay, a first in a skateboarding game: the “True Stance Stick”, where each foot is controlled independently using the two sticks. With a learning curve as demanding as in real life, players will have to practice how to control their board and perform all the different stunts in the game, from the simplest to the most complicated. With the integrated editing tool, each player can capture their greatest feats on video.
