Semi-crash on northbound I-77

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – A crash involving a truck has closed the northbound lane for a brief period.

The semi landed in the median, causing traffic to back up.

The driver was taken to Marietta Memorial Hospital to be checked for possible injuries.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office, Williamstown Fire Department, Waverly Fire Department and St. Joseph’s Ambulance Service all responded.
