Sean Davis welcomes ‘Summer Fun Soccer Bonanza’ to Derry next month

Due to the high demand and success of the course in July The Sean Davis 4-day August Summer Fun Football Bonanza will return to the Templemore Sports Complex next month.

The course takes place from Monday August 5th until Thursday, 8e August 2024.

The coaching is aimed at boys and girls aged 5 to 18 and involves the fun of dribbling, shooting, heading, passing and control through specialised fun coaching techniques. There are also numerous mini-football competitions such as the “World Cup”, “Premier League”, “Spanish League” and “Champions League” as well as the ever popular Penalty King and Queen Competitions.

The coaching staff consists of Connor Hasson (IFA and European B license), Jason Mallon (IFA and European B license), Adrian O’Connell (IFA and European B license) and Bernie Ruderford (IFA and European B license).

The course coordinator is Sean Davis, a former Manchester United, Middlesborough, Torquay United and Sligo Rovers player. Sean holds a European “A” Coaching Licence to add to his IFA, FAI and FA Badges.

Registration for the course will take place on Monday 5e August at 10am

Lunch is from 12:30 to 13:00 and the course ends at 15:00 each day. In addition to the coaching, each course participant will receive a Free Soccer Achievement Certificate. There are also hundreds of prizes to be won, including boot bags, trophies and medals.
