Scotland squad: Ben Doak, Ryan Gauld, Max Johnston and Robby McCrorie named in group for Nations League matches | Football News

Scotland manager Steve Clarke has named four players on indefinite leave in his squad for next month’s Nations League matches against Poland and Portugal.

Midfielders Ben Doak from Liverpool and Vancouver Whitecaps’ Ryan Gauld are included, as well as defender Max Johnston who impressed at SK Sturm Graz, while Kilmarnock’s Robby McCrorie is added as a reserve for the goalkeeper Angus Gunn.

Queens Park Rangers striker also returns to the group Lyndon Dykes who missed Euro 2024 due to injury, and Rangers defender John Zuider who was not in Clarke’s last group.

However, a number of players from Germany are missing, including the Gers goalkeeper Liam Kellydefenders Jack Hendry, Ross McCrorie, Kieran Tierney And Liam Cooperplus midfielders Stuart Armstrong And Ryan Jack.
