Savi Davison likely to miss season opener against Creamline

SAVI Davison has been added to the reserve list for the 2024 PLDT PVL Reinforced Conference opener against Creamline.

High Speed ​​Hitters head coach Rald Ricafort confirmed to SPIN.ph that they will be without their leading scorer in the All-Filipino game, just hours before their conference debut.

“Reserve (si Savi Davison) today. “The slight (injury) took a long time, but I can’t wait to play,” confirmed Ricafort.

The Fil-Canadian forward was the league’s third-leading scorer with 207 total points, built on 190 attacks, 13 blocks and four aces.

She also finished eighth in the competition in blocking with 13.

The nature of Davison’s injury has not yet been disclosed, but the timetable for her return is still “undetermined” at the time of writing.

PLDT is hoping to reach the Final Four for the first time in three conferences, where it fell one spot short of a semifinal spot.
