Saturday street closures for the Queen Bee Half Marathon

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – The Queen Bee Half Marathon returns this Saturday and numerous streets will be closed for the race.

The following roads will be closed from 4am and will remain closed until the end of the race (approximately 1pm):

• Eggleston Avenue – closed between Reedy Street and Reading Road
• Hofstraat – closed between Eggleston Avenue and Reedy Street
• Reading path – closed northbound between Eggleston Avenue and 12th Street
• E Pete Rose Way – closed between Mehring Way and Eggleston Avenue

These roads will close from 7 a.m. and will remain closed until the race participants have passed through the area:

• Central Parkway – eastbound closed between Sycamore Street and Eggleston Avenue
• Reading path – closed northbound between Eggleston Avenue and Elsinore Place
• Liberty Street exit from I471 northbound – Closed
• Elsinore Place – closed between Reading Road and Gilbert Avenue
• Gilbert Avenue – closed northbound between Broadway and Eden Park Drive (open to the Hard Rock Casino and the I71 on-ramp)
• Gilbert Avenue – southbound closed between Eden Park Drive and Elsinore Place
• Edenparkdrive – closed between Gilbert Avenue and Victory Parkway
• Art museum ride – closed to through traffic between Paradrome Street and Eden Park Drive
• Martin Drive – Closed between Parkside Place and Eden Park Drive
• Victory Parkway – closed between Eden Park Drive and McMillan Street (southbound Victory Parkway maintained between McMillan Street and Francis Lane) closed

Other affected streets include:

• McMillan Street – closed between Victory Parkway and Grandview Avenue
• Houtbrandlaan – closed northbound between McMillan Street and Madison Road
• Madison Road – eastbound closed between Woodburn Avenue and Observatory Avenue
• Observatory Avenue – eastbound closed between Madison Road and Linwood Avenue
• Linwood Avenue – southbound closed between Observatory Avenue and Eastern Avenue
• Eastern Avenue – closed westwards between Heekinlaan and Deltalaan
• Delta Avenue – northbound closed between Kellogg Avenue and Eastern Avenue
• Riverbank drive – eastbound closed between Eggleston Avenue and Delta Avenue (Riverside Drive eastbound open to runners only. Current construction closures remain in effect.)
• Eggleston Avenue – southbound closed between Central Parkway and Riverside Drive

The city of Cincinnati says Metro will maintain bus service, but some delays are expected.
