San Diegos to Rock the 2024 Paris Olympics

VISTA (KUSI/FOX 5) – Team USA has announced the 12 skateboarders who will represent the Red, White and Blue at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris this month, including four skateboarders from San Diego.

Point Loma High School alum Tate Carew (19) and Oceanside resident Gavin Bottger (17) will travel to France to compete in the Mens Park competition. Encinitas resident Bryce Wettstein (20) will return for her second Olympic appearance, along with Oceanside resident Ruby Lilley (17), where they will compete in the Womens Park competition.

The opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympic Games will take place on Friday, July 26, while the skateboard park competitions will take place on August 6 and 7.
