Samsung creates endless possibilities for athletes and fans at Paris 2024 with official theme ‘Open Always Wins’

Samsung is partnering with a group of inspiring international athletes, including Sky Brown, Johanne Defay, Madison de Rozario and Jack Robinson, to bring ‘Open always wins’ and the brand’s programme for Paris 2024 to life

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, has announced the official theme for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024: “Open Always Wins.” The message conveys Samsung’s belief that with an open mind, every new experience becomes a meaningful achievement that opens up new horizons and infinite possibilities. It will serve as the heart of Samsung’s Paris 2024 program and will be brought to life through a variety of promotions leading up to and during the Games, as well as through Team Samsung Galaxy’s remarkable athlete ambassadors.

Each athlete on Team Samsung Galaxy, including British skateboarder and long-time brand ambassador Sky Brown, knows first-hand that an open mindset drives you to victory, in sport and beyond.

Team Samsung Galaxy for Paris 2024

For Paris 2024, Team Samsung Galaxy consists of more than 25 Olympians and Paralympians including British skateboarder Sky Brown, Spanish badminton champion Carolina Marin, French skateboarding hero Aurélien Giraud, American B-girl(1) Grace “Sunny” Choi, German Para-sprinter Johannes Floors and South Korean football icon Son Heung-min with even more names. It features several athletes from some of the newest sports of the Games skateboarding, surfing and breaking who, like Samsung, share the core values ​​of openness and self-expression.

The team also includes 15-year-old skateboarder Rayssa Leal, who became the youngest Brazilian ever to compete at the Olympic Games when she won silver in Tokyo 2020; Kim Ye-ri, the “limitless” South Korean B-girl who overcame a hearing impairment to reach the top of her sport; Jagger Eaton (USA), who champions skateboarding’s open-minded culture; surfers Johanne Defay (France), John John Florence (USA) and Jack Robinson (Australia), who are not only fierce competitors on the waves but also fierce advocates for the ocean and the climate; and Paralympians Madison de Rozario (Australia) and Ugo Didier (France) who use their platforms to promote accessibility and inclusivity in sport and society.
