Rumor has it that a WWE star’s salary will be higher than Brock Lesnar’s

Below are some of the day’s major news stories regarding Brock Lesnar and All In 2024.

• Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE television since his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. While he has yet to return, a wrestling veteran has claimed that Reigns will receive a significant pay raise when he returns, making his salary higher than what Brock Lesnar used to be.

Lesnar is reportedly the highest paid WWE Superstar, with an annual income of $12 million. Reigns is also among the highest earners, with a reported annual income of $5 million.

On the “Straight Talk with The Boss” podcast, NWA legend Magnum TA revealed that he had heard that The Tribal Chief would be getting a significant pay raise upon his return:

“I heard Roman is going to have the highest salary of any employee in history when he comes back. His deal is supposed to be bigger than Brock’s and Brock’s was $12 million.”

Roman is rumored to return at SummerSlam 2024.

• The annual Owen Hart Cup tournament is nearing its conclusion, providing exciting in-ring action from All Elite Wrestling. AEW President Tony Khan announced that the winners of both the men’s and women’s tournaments will receive World Championship matches at AEW All In 2024 at Wembley Stadium next month.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Bryan Danielson is the favorite to win the men’s tournament. Danielson defeated Shingo Takagi at AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door and later defeated PAC on the July 3 edition of AEW Dynamite: Beach Break to reach the finals. He will face the winner of the Adam Page vs. Jay White match, which takes place on July 6 at AEW Collision.

Bryan is rumored to be taking on Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium, in what promises to be a memorable match in the final stages of his full-time wrestling career.
