Three Alabama football players traveled to Birmingham on Tuesday to visit patients at the children’s hospital.

“Thank you for having us out yesterday,” Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker wrote in a post on X. “We are so happy we could be a blessing yesterday! Looking forward to our next visit!”

Booker was joined by quarterback Jalen Milroe and fellow offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor, who spent time with patients and took photos, which Children’s posted to social media.

“A huge thank you to Alabama football for bringing their winning spirit to our inpatients today! It was an unforgettable day filled with smiles, laughter, and inspiration,” Children’s wrote in a post on X.

July 11, 1986: Athletic Director Ray Perkins announced that he would officially open his new football office building, inviting fans to tour the facility on July 14. The football staff was originally scheduled to move into the 66,000-square-foot building in February, but construction delays postponed the move.
