Robin Roberts shared Lizzy Musi-inspired prayer – The Capital Sports Report

Street Outlaws No Prep Kings star Robin Roberts has shared a prayer inspired by Lizzy Musi, who died on Thursday night at the age of 33.

Musi was a star in the Street Outlaws community. She also won several Street Outlaws No Prep Kings events.

The daughter of famous tuner and former drag racer Pat Musi had spoken out about her battle with stage 4 breast cancer. In April 2023, she made her battle with breast cancer public.

She died a little over a year later. After the Empire Dragway event in New York in May, she left the series.

It was believed that she was seeking treatment abroad.

Roberts said many people have asked him to have the prayer on Saturday. Due to the weather, the NPK event in Cordova, Illinois, was moved from Friday and Saturday to Saturday and Sunday.

God the Father,
We come to you with a heavy heart. Our friend Lizzy turned on the win light and beat us to you.

We pray for your peace for Pat, Elizabeth and Tricia, for the entire racing family who were close to her and for all the fans who loved her.

We appreciate the time you gave all of us with one of your children. Lizzy was a fierce competitor… with a sweet character! We will miss her infectious smile; Win or lose hugs was her style.

Lord, we know that with You all things are possible: So, hook her up to an 1800 cubic inch nitro engine… with about 23 kits! Make it just a little bit better than the one her earthly father Pat could have built!

We know her pain is over. But ours is not. This will leave a hole in our hearts that cannot be filled, or ever fully repaired.

Thank you for this time to enjoy our passion. We will miss Lizzy today and every day we come together to race. Let her watch over us, smile on us and keep us all safe.
