Rantoul Township High School student injured in collision | Courts-police-fire

RANTOUL – A 16-year-old Rantoul High School student was injured Thursday afternoon when he was struck by a vehicle in a crash.

Rantoul Police Chief Tony Brown said the victim was on foot when he was struck by a westbound vehicle on US 136.

“The suspect vehicle was most likely a black or blue four-door sedan,” Brown said.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
