Quick notes on various Indiana goals for 2025 – The Daily Hoosier

Last week, all the national top talents of the 2025 class came into action during various events.

And starting Thursday, college coaches were absent for the first live period in July.

All of this activity brought news about Indiana’s key demographics in the rising graduating class.

Priority 2025-wait Jalen Haralson has already scheduled visits to Indiana, Notre Dame, and he told Adam Zagoria this weekend that he wants to expand that list to include Auburn, Duke, Kansas, Gonzaga and Purdue. Haralson has a top nine that includes all of those schools. He wants to wrap up his recruitment before the early signing period in November, so expect a busy few months of visits.

IU coach Mike Woodson was in North August SC to watch Haralson at Peach Jam, according to multiple reports. The IU head coach also made stops during the live period at Adidas in Rock Hill, SC and at an event in Atlanta. His assistants were also in multiple locations.

Indiana’s Biggest Obstacle When It Comes to Downtown 2025 Malachi Moreno appears to be Kentucky. He told the Kentucky On3 outlet that he will be making an official visit to Lexington and his home state school for their Big Blue Madness event in October. Moreno is scheduled to officially visit IU on Sept. 20 with Indiana Elite teammates Braylon Mullins and Trent Sisley. He told us last week that the two were like brothers to him.

Priority 2025 target Braylon Mullins’ Recruiting became increasingly difficult over the weekend, as he received offers from Duke and Arkansas. Right now, IU is competing with all the blue bloods for the top-30 Greenfield, Ind. guard. He told On3’s Jamie Shaw that he plans to narrow down his list soon, taking about eight visits over the next few months and then likely choosing a college before the early signing period in November.

Check out Mullins’ highlights from last week’s Adidas 3SSB here.

A newer, popular name in the state in the class of 2025 is Jeffersonville power forward Three Singleton. In the last few weeks alone, the 6-foot-8 Singleton has received offers from Louisville, Clemson, Butler, DePaul and Northwestern. He’s at least a name to know for IU, as members of the Hoosiers staff saw him in action this weekend in at least two games I attended. Singleton has a great motor and very good footwork in the paint. We’ll see where it goes.

2025 5-star forward Nate Ament has a recruiting that is very similar to Mullins, with all the blue bloods chasing him. He spoke to League Ready this week about what is happening with his process:

This week we hear more from Ament about Indiana, following our conversation with him during the Adidas 3SSB finals.

At Rivals, 2025 guard Meleek Thomas has received five projections that he will land at UConn, including from national analyst Rob Cassidy. If there is a positive for Indiana, it is that the Huskies are also looking to recruit other IU 2025 targets like Mullins and top-30 2025 guard Darius Adams.

There were reports that Woodson was keeping tabs on Adams at Peach Jam this weekend, a sign that the Hoosiers still believe they have a chance with him. Adams is a teammate of Haralson’s at La Lumiere.

2025 players who have officially stepped down from the IU board in recent weeks include: Academic Lewis And Jordan Scott.
