Prince Harry is ‘excited’ to celebrate his 40th birthday, say royal experts, while his estranged brother William may not…

While Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is set to celebrate his 40th birthday tomorrow, September 15, by spending time with his wife Meghan Markle and their children Archie and Lilibet, royal experts say his estranged brother, Crown Prince William, may refuse to mark the occasion in any way.

Prince Harry told the BBC about his upcoming birthday, saying he is “excited” to celebrate his 40th birthday this weekend.

“I was anxious about 30, I’m excited about 40. Becoming a father to two incredibly kind and funny children has given me a fresh perspective on life, and sharpened my focus in all my work. Being a father is one of life’s great joys and has only made me more driven and committed to making this world a better place,” the Mirror quoted the Duke of Sussex as saying.

“The best gift I’ve ever been given is definitely my children,” he said. “I love watching them grow every day and I love being their dad.”

According to The Mirror, despite the ongoing family feud, his father, King Charles III, will call his second son to wish him luck. However, it is unlikely that his estranged brother, Prince William, will be there.

It is important to note that the brothers met two weeks ago at a memorial service for their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes, but they never spoke to each other once.

“What a difference the years have made. When Harry turned 30, it seemed that nothing could come between him and his brother,” the Mirror reported, adding that “but now William and Harry don’t even speak to each other. They used to celebrate major milestones together, but there will be no transatlantic chat between the two on Harry’s big day.”

Express quoted royal biographer Ingrid Seward as saying: “King Charles will celebrate his son’s 40th birthday remotely.” “Milestone birthdays are important to the royals. Whatever setbacks Harry has caused will be forgotten for today,” Seward said

“Harry celebrated his 30th birthday with his mates at a big dinner at Clarence House. His 40th will be in the Montecito sunshine with a wife and two children. He says he is happier now. We hope he is,” she added.
