Priest suffers burn injuries in fire accident in Nakrekal temple-Telangana today

Dikshit Abhishek, a priest from Uttar Pradesh, had been serving at the temple for some time. In preparation for the Karthika Pournami celebrations, he cleaned the sanctum sanctorum of the temple with a chemical cleaner.

Nalgonda: A priest suffered minor burns in a fire accident at a temple in Nakrekal in Nalgonda district on Thursday.

Dikshit Abhishek, a priest from Uttar Pradesh, worked at the temple for a while. Before the Karthika Pournami celebrations, he cleaned the sanctum sanctorum of the temple with a chemical cleaning agent.

His dhoti caught fire and he suffered burns. He was admitted to a private nursing home in Nakrekal for treatment.
