Power outage tracker: How many Tampa Bay area residents are still in the dark?

Hurricane Milton left a trail of destruction in the Tampa Bay area after making landfall in Siesta Key last Wednesday evening. Many residents are still experiencing power outages, but line workers from across the country are working to get the lights back on.

TECO’s president and CEO says power will be restored to all customers Thursday or sooner. He answered many questions you may have in an interview FOX 13 did with him Sunday afternoon. You can watch it in the video player above.

As of 4:55 a.m. Monday, the next number of customers were without power in the Tampa Bay area.

Duke Energy power outage:

  • Citrus region: 1,089
  • Hernando Province: 957
  • Highlands County: 836
  • Hillsborough County: 13
  • Pasco County: 6,972
  • Pinellas County: 100,619
  • Polk County: 1,994
  • Sumter County: 266

  • DeSoto County: 144
  • Hardee County: 0
  • Highlands region: 1
  • Manatee County: 34,380
  • Sarasota County: 32,690
