Police are looking for suspects of assault and theft in Center City

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s help in identifying three suspects involved in a robbery that occurred last month in Center City.

On September 22, at approximately 7:59 p.m., a 31-year-old man was assaulted near 1500 JFK Boulevard. Authorities say the victim was punched multiple times before being kicked to the ground. One of the suspects then searched the victim’s pockets and took his wallet.

Police have released descriptions of the three suspects involved in the attack. The first suspect is described as a black male with a thin build wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and gray shorts. The second suspect is described as a black man with a heavy build, wearing a dark T-shirt with the letters “KORS” on the front and gray sweatpants. The third suspect is described as a black man with a thin build wearing a Phillies hat, gray jacket and gray pants.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Central Detective Division. Police have also provided video footage and still images of the suspects in an effort to identify them.

The investigation is still ongoing.
