PlayStation Reveals Plans for 30th Anniversary Celebration ｜ BANG Showbiz Nederlands

PlayStation has created a Spotify playlist to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The original PlayStation console was released in 1994, and the gaming giant has now explained how it will celebrate the milestone.

A blog post on the PlayStation website states: “In partnership with Sony Music, we’re releasing a series of digital soundtracks from popular PlayStation franchises for the first time on Spotify each month from October through January.”

The PlayStation brand has grown into a household name in the gaming industry over the past 30 years.

And gamers can now look back at some of the console’s biggest successes via the Spotify streaming platform.

The PlayStation blog post states: “Today you can also listen to our specially curated PlayStation 30th Anniversary playlist on Spotify, featuring some of the most streamed music by PlayStation gamers around the world. (sic)”

Additionally, PlayStation has already announced other ways it plans to celebrate the 30th anniversary in the coming weeks and months.

The company said: “As we celebrate 30 years of gaming, these upcoming activities and releases are just a taste of what’s to come. Stay tuned for announcements in the near future!”
