Pitt State Softball Announces Addition of Stephen F. Austin Transfer Aydenne Brown | KSNF/KODE

PITTSBURG, KS — The Pitt State Gorillas gained another strong arm in the pitching circle after announcing the signing of Aydenne Brown, who transferred from Division I program Stephen F. Austin.

Brown played the 2024 season with the Lumberjacks, where she led the staff with 89 strikeouts in 113.2 innings pitched and kept her batting average at .237.

This season, she was named WAC Pitcher of the Week twice.

Prior to playing at SFA, Brown played one season for the New Mexico State Aggies, where he struck out 95 batters in 96.2 innings pitched.

She was also a two-time NJCAA Division I All-American at Odessa College. In 2022, she earned First Team honors with the Wranglers by compiling a 25-3 record with a 1.44 ERA while striking out 262 batters.

Head Coach Jenny Fuller stated, “Aydenne is someone we have followed her entire career, and we are excited to add her to our staff,” Fuller said. “She is an accomplished thrower at the collegiate level and will bring a wealth of experience to the table. We can’t wait to see her compete for the Gorillas.”
