The Miami Dolphins will have access to a newly renovated locker room at their home stadium, Hard Rock Stadium, starting this season.

The Dolphins announced the new game Friday ahead of their season opener against the Atlanta Falcons.

It wasn’t that the Dolphins needed a locker room upgrade, as ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques noted. But the improvements, led by team owner Stephen Ross, were made anyway.

The Dolphins are looking to improve on an 11-win season that earned them their second straight playoff appearance. Miami finished last year with the NFL’s No. 2 scoring offense and has key players from that unit back, including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wideout Tyreek Hill, who both signed new contracts.

Miami opens the regular season on September 8 with a home game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
