Phish to perform three nights in Albany to benefit Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program

Phish have announced an upcoming three-night benefit concert series, October 25-27, at MVP Arena in Albany, NY. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program and its newly opened facility in Ludlow, Vt. The announcement of today’s concert comes after the funky four-piece concluded its 2024 Summer Tour on September 1 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo., the group’s four-night series following the success of their 11th festival appearance.

The upcoming charity concerts will further fundraising efforts for the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addiction recovery. Conceived and founded by Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio in the wake of his own sobriety, the program offers 46 guests a safe and nurturing environment to address and work toward abstinence from substance abuse.

Housed in a recently renovated former hotel overlooking nearby Okemo Mountain, the Divided Sky facility is harnessing its power to offer a nonclinical, 12-step program that promotes emotional sobriety and mindfulness. According to the band’s official press release, “the benefit concerts in Albany will allow Divided Sky to keep its immersive Residential Recovery Program affordable for all, with partial scholarships available to those who demonstrate need.”

A limited number of free thank you tickets will be available to recovery professionals to recognize their vital work in helping individuals and families affected by addiction. Anyone working in recovery or a related mental health field can apply for tickets at DividedSky.org/benefit. Geographic priority will be given to New York State and New England.

Additionally, curated experiences may be available for those interested in making larger philanthropic donations to the Divided Sky Foundation. For more information, email [email protected].
