Pete Wicks and Sam Quek enjoy a night out together in a hotel bar in preparation for the launch of Strictly Come Dancing

NEW Strictly Come Dancing recruits Pete Wicks and Sam Quek have been spotted enjoying a night out together ahead of the live shows.

Pete, 36, and Sam, 35, were photographed having a friendly chat and then some fun at the Strictly hotel.

They were also spotted walking arm in arm down a hotel hallway while holding hands. wine glasses and enjoyed the drinks while they her for Strictly.

The lively duo appeared at ease in each other’s company as they walked around in relaxed attire.

Olympic gold medallist Sam wore a black hoodie and sweatpants, while Towie star Pete opted for a zip-up jacket, white top and green trousers.

Pete has been enjoying a bit of a social life recently ahead of the launch of Strictly, and rumours of a romance with Love Island star Faye Winter surfaced last month.

At Vicky Pattison’s wedding, Faye and Pete couldn’t resist the temptation of the photo booth.

In the photos, which Faye shared on her Instagram Stories, the couple can be seen snuggling up against each other and Pete giving her a big hug from behind.

Another photo shows him getting down on one knee to propose.

The loving snaps come almost a year after they were first spotted at the NTAs.

In addition to Faye, Pete has also been spotted hanging out with another Love Island star in recent weeks.

The Sun revealed last month that Pete and Maura (Love Island) had struck up a romance when they were spotted kissing at the Broadwick Soho Hotel.

Pete is known for his string of romances with Towie stars Megan McKenna, Chloe Sims and Ella Rae Wise.

In recent years, however, he has kept his romances secret and focused mainly on his work with partner-in-crime Sam Thompson.

Meanwhile, Olympic star Sam has had her husband by her side throughout her career and he will be there when she takes to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor.

Sam Quek’s husband, Thomas Mairs, is a property developer and has even appeared on the Channel 4 programme Secret Millionaire.

He runs his own student accommodation company in Liverpool.

Sam and Tom have been together for eight years, after meeting in a bar in Liverpool.

In March 2021, they welcomed their first child, after a ‘traumatic’ caesarean section.

After hours of contractions, baby Molly Doris was born.

Seven months after the birth of her daughter, Sam became pregnant again.

In March 2022, she gave birth to a son named Isaac Gregory Mairs.
