Pete Hegseth named in 2017 sexual assault accusation

Fox News host Pete Hegseth, nominated to be secretary of defense, was once investigated for sexual assault allegations. A police report obtained by Inside Edition shows that the alleged assault took place in 2017. The woman who claims Hegseth victimized her went to police only four days after she said she was attacked. Police say they will keep all other details of the investigation confidential. Hegseth’s lawyer tells Inside Edition: “He has been cleared of any wrongdoing.”
