Person killed in collision on Lafayette Road, Kessler Boulevard – Indianapolis News | Weather Indiana | Indiana traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis police say one person was killed in a collision on the Northwest Side Sunday morning.

Online police reports show that Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the intersection of Lafayette Road and West Kessler Boulevard North Drive around 7:50 a.m. to investigate a crash involving injuries.

That’s in a business and residential area just north of West 16th Street.

Shortly afterwards, the call type was updated to ‘fatal accident’.

It is unclear which vehicle fled the scene, whether anyone else was injured in the incident and whether there was any traffic disruption.
