Pedestrian struck by vehicle on CR 11 in Lauderdale Co.

LAUDERDALE CO., Ala. (WAFF) – Multiple first responders were on the scene of an accident where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

Officials with the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office say the pedestrian was crossing County Road 11 when they were struck.

The pedestrian was transported to a hospital by helicopter. It is not yet known how serious their injuries are.

Troopers from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are investigating this accident.
