PCB announces schedule for Pakistan-South Africa-New Zealand tri-series

The first ODI tri-series in 21 years is scheduled to be held in Multan in February 2025 as preparations for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy get underway.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 international cricket season. The season saw a major highlight – the reintroduction of an ODI tri-series after a hiatus of 21 years.

The three-match series, featuring New Zealand and South Africa, will take place in Multan from February 8 to 14 and will be a crucial build-up to the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which will be hosted by Pakistan.

During the season, the Pakistan men’s cricket team will face an intensive schedule consisting of nine Tests, nine T20Is and a minimum of 14 ODIs, with the possibility of additional ODIs based on their performance in both the tri-series and the Champions Trophy.

The exciting cricket season culminates with the final of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy on March 9. This is a turning point for Pakistan cricket.
