Patrick Mahomes says ‘I’m done’ after announcing Brittany is having third child, praises wife for ‘the amazing job she’s doing’

NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes claims his growing family is almost complete.

The Kansas City Chiefs star announced last week that he is expecting a third child with his wife Brittany.

Mahomes returned to the Chiefs’ complex on Tuesday to begin preparations for the upcoming 2024 season.

Kansas City turns to history with a landmark third edition.

Mahomes won his third ring in February when the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.

But the 28-year-old laughed at the couple’s plans to add a fourth child to the marriage.

“I’m done, I’m telling you,” he told reporters with a smile on Tuesday.

“I always said: three (children) and then I’m done.

“No, it’s great. I always wanted children at a young age.”

Mahomes grew up with his father Pat Snr. who played professionally in the MLB.

And he would like his own children to grow up in a similar sporting environment.

“I grew up in the locker room,” Mahomes continued.

“I think I’ve talked about it before, and it’s had such a huge impact on my life.

“So I wanted children from a young age and now a third child has joined our family.”

Mahomes married his high school sweetheart Brittany in March 2022 in a lavish Hawaiian ceremony.

The couple already have a daughter, Sterling, 3, and a son, Bronze, 1.

“Brittany is doing a great job (with raising the kids),” he added.

“And we still go out, enjoy life and show our kids these amazing things.”

The family recently returned from a European vacation, during which Mahomes visited the United Kingdom, Amsterdam and Spain.

He joined teammate Travis Kelce for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and found time for a night out in Marbella with Brittany.

A few days after their return, Brittany revealed to her 2 million Instagram fans that she was pregnant for the third time.

“Coming soon, round three,” Brittany, 28, captioned an adorable reveal video.
